Obsidian-Based

The manuscript remains a vault of Markdown files, not a locked project database.

What it does

ObservaStory uses Obsidian as the authoring surface and treats ordinary Markdown notes as the source of truth. Scenes, characters, arcs, claims, and metric definitions can all be inspected and edited directly.

Why it matters

A writer can keep using a familiar local writing environment while adding structured evaluation around it. VS Code or another editor can help when editing scripts, configuration, or custom evaluators.

  • Scene notes remain readable Markdown.
  • Story definitions live beside the manuscript.
  • Manual installation is possible before a packaged plugin exists; use the central installation guide instead of repeating setup steps here.
